NestIt boasts a fast and flexible importer, enabling users to import multiple files quickly and efficiently. With the ability to select the desired file extension and preview the clear drawing, importing becomes a seamless process. The importer supports 2D geometries from various file formats, including DXF, SVG, DWG, and proprietary file types.

NestIt offers a user-friendly CAD interface, allowing easy cleaning and adjustment of the imported files. With essential operations like cutting, deleting, copying, and adding new segments, users have complete control over the final design.

NestIt introduces the powerful ‘Renest’ option, enabling users to import previous nesting results. Leveraging NestIt’s intelligent algorithms, the software automatically recognizes geometries multiplicity and the containers used. With these data a new nesting process can be started to generate an optimized result.

NestIt provides comprehensive geometry configuration, allowing evaluation of allowed rotations, mirroring, quantity, optimized orientation, and container filling. All these parameters are essential to achieve the right and optimized nesting result.

Setting of the main parameters for the execution of the nesting such as distance between the geometries, distance with respect to the container, tolerance of approximation of the geometries and stop condition of the nesting process.​

Possibility to modify the result obtained by deleting, copying, moving the geometries present in the container or by importing new geometries from the most convenient file format for you.

In the exporter the common line option is settable. This feature is really important for the cutting process. The dxf exported file can be direct usable into the cutting machine without any other otimization process. 

NestIt can easily recognize the remnant space of partially filled sheets. NestIt recognizes the geometries inside the CAD file as a part of the sheet and uses the free space on it as container. With this tool you can reduce the raw material costs.

The exporter has many available files to choose. The dxf and dwg files for drawing while pdf give a nesting report with many useful information for hte production. All these files can be exported in a single zip file. For each file extension is possible to set main parameters.
